In addition to being an officiant who has helped approximately 1,000 couples celebrate their weddings, I am a certified liturgist with more than 36 years experience. My professional career also includes many years as a corporate writer and communicator, and as an author.

When asked to describe a “typical” couple seeking my help with a wedding, I say, “There is no norm.” Every couple is unique. In addition to young brides and grooms just starting out, I have married people in their 60s who wanted a quiet, dignified affair at home. I have married soldiers on their way to war, and couples who already had several small children. My focus is always on helping each couple (and family) translate their ceremony into their own words so that the wedding is a true expression of the commitment they are making.

My rate is $225 and is all-inclusive. A couple never receives a second bill for anything extra. My standard wedding services include a pre-wedding consultation with the couple, the creation of a custom ceremony, keepsake ceremony booklet, unlimited calls and emails, and officiating at the ceremony.

In addition to weddings, I officiate at baby blessings, renewals of vows, house blessings, funerals, memorial services, and other occasions of remembrance.
